Grief Is Hard – But You Don’t Have to Walk Through It Alone
Grief is one of those things that creeps into your life and changes you forever. It doesn't ask for permission, and it doesn't always come when you're ready. I know this firsthand.
I lost both of my grandparents—two important people in my life—each one died within the space of a year. My grandma passed away suddenly after falling ill, and for a week after she died, I felt completely numb. It was like my world paused and it was painful for the family. A year later, my grandpa followed after falling sick with the flu. And after that, it felt like more people continued to be taken—relatives, close friends, my favourite celebrities, familiar faces and even people's pets.
At first, I coped by staying strong, holding it all together. I dipped in and out of therapy, sometimes feeling like I had made progress, other times unsure if I had really achieved anything at all. Looking back, I realize that although I had accepted the reality of death, I hadn’t fully processed the grief that came with it. I hadn’t really felt it for a while until I felt it in a healthy way. This meant living my next life chapter to the fullest with their memories.
And that’s the thing about grief—it doesn't follow a straight line. It loops and lingers. It shows up in unexpected moments: in an old song, in a smell that reminds you of them, or even just in the silence.
But with time, I also came to understand something deeper: acceptance is just one part of grief. The other part—the part that brings healing—is about meaning. It's about asking yourself:
“What do I want to carry forward from them into this new chapter of my life?”
For me, it was their kindness, their quiet wisdom, their love of family, their resilience. Those are the legacies I live by now.
This is why I created the Grief & Loss Digital Bundle. It’s not about erasing grief—but learning how to turn it into something good for your life. It also involves giving yourself space to process and reflect, in your own way to come to terms with it well. Inside, you’ll find digital planners, journals, and guided workbooks designed to gently support you through your unique journey of loss.
Whether you’re in the early days of heartbreak or years down the road wondering why it still hits you so hard sometimes, this bundle is for you.
Grief is hard. But healing is possible as you look to the new things in your life while carrying their legacies. And you don’t have to do it alone.
Take a moment. Take a breath. And when you're ready, let’s start this next chapter together.
